I've discovered something really bizarre, there is a company in Manchester who cam make diamonds!! Yes it's true, they can make diamonds in a laboratory from carbon extracted from ashes, but more importantly they can make a diamond from the umbilical cord of a baby??? How the hell do they do that???

Anyway, I have s een the updated blog (phoenix-diamonds.blogpot.com) and here is their picture.
They say this is the "First in the World" absolutely amazing I think.

Is this Britain or is this the insidious thin end of the Islamic wedge?.

The fact that Muslims were once a tiny minority and that they desired to move to Britain to work and become (somewhat) 'British' was I suppose admirable and it may have even been considered a good idea at the time. I'm sure not many thought that much about it.

But now that so many 'Foreigners' of all religions and faiths have been born here and that THEY now call themselves British or even 'English', doesn't allow them or anyone of any religion or faith to CHANGE the land in the face of the Christian majority.

Surely the appeal of these shores was all that it offered? It is (was) very quintessentially British, 'White', Church of England bells on Sunday, Catholic priests giving confessional and Methodist quaintness – It was never ISLAM and held no visage of anyone else's 'homeland' other than being occupied and developed by Christians. Visitors, immigrants and 'foreigners' have always been tolerated - but even now that Great Britain is no longer that 'Great' we are still an island of Christians, we have laws that have evolved over hundreds of years.

I – as a world traveller – would never ever have dreamt of imposing my values, my religion, my idiosyncrasies of faith on the people of islands I was kindly made welcome ...I went to those islands as a visitor, to live and work amongst the established majority whether they were black, white, Catholic or Jewish – I did not go to build my out-of-place temple standing 200 ft above everyone, I did not go to loud-hail a call to prayer and I did not go there to say their laws were against mine – NO – the minute I would have tried that, I would have been packed off 'back to where I came from'.

If you do not like how the Russians run their county – don't go or live there!!

If you do not like how a Country is run or what 'religion' it is – don't go there.

If you don't like anything about where you now live – go somewhere else.

But don't come here and change a thing - I like it for what it is - ENGLAND

A Consensus party to rule us all

How many political parties are needed to rule the Country the way the MAJORITY desire??

Answer...Just one, a CONSENSUS PARTY with NO left or right bias, a ruling party by the majority.

With technology being SO sophisticated and TV and the 'Net being so common, I think we should have a NEW (apolitical) party to replace the elected idiots who only offer a few alternatives between each current party running.

The party would be run by TV, 'phone or 'Net voting, almost like a common referendum voting system but instantaneously moulded by a majority consensus.

The 'Cparty' could have its own Newspaper, its own TV channel, its own telephone network, its own website with which the general public ANYONE (not just Conservatives, Liberals, etc:) could make decisions needing airing.

Provided all the pro's and con's are offered (or further breakdown options or more info') we could all INSTANTANEOUSLY decide (for example) if hanging should be brought back or Capital Punishment. Should we be ruled by the EU? Should we 'chip' criminals??

If you (as an individual liberal) want to propose anything, it could be voted upon.

The funding (and the wages) could be paid for by telephone, mobile or 'PayPal' fee.

Do you think the 'politicians' earn too much??? Vote on an amount you think is fair. Do you wish to pay for 'FatCats'? - vote. Do you think we should copy other countries tax system? Do you think we should pay tax at 20%, 30% or higher or lower?? Vote...

Do you want more money to be put into the 'Health Service' - VOTE!!!!!

Chelsea Tractors are not Smart

If, in Britain we have to think that owning a car is a god-given right and that public transport is not offering an alternative, let us at least get the users pay for the roads and space they take up.
I'm not advocating 'SMART' cars, what I'm trying to suggest is a re-think on car size – beit the Mini, the 2VC, Fiat 500, Bedford Racal - 5 Litre 4x4 status phalics are too costly.
These are just a few considerations :-
A 'Smart' can convey a child as much as a 'Chelsea Tractor'
A 'Smart4four' can convey 3 children or the average family.
What percentage of cars have more than one occupant?
Tiny engines consume less of the worlds resources.
Small cars take up less parking, less space on the road, do less damage, cost less.
Fast big cars kill more people and destroy smaller cars in crashes.
4 x 4's have greater cost on the environment.
Big cars pay almost as much road tax and small cars, the difference is disproportionate.
Status symbols and vanity are more important than common sense and reason.
Speed and Power go with impatience and greed.
Every car, caravan, lorry, HGV has an effect on many matters - road repair, pollution, maintenance, cost of living, death rate, recycling, capital cost, usefulness, etc:
Road Tax should be just that, not a stealth tax for revenue. The existing roads are already an intrusion on the English landscape. The cost of road building and repair to the tax payer (especially the poor and no-car families) is disproportionate to the size of the vehicle owned and used.

All vehicles must have some form of common formulae as to their MPG, footprint, weight, volume, speed, E-value and cost. Road Tax, Vehicle Tax, call it what you will - (even as a deterant) - should be based on a formulae. 'Smart' type cars should be encouraged [if public transport cannot deliver], 'gas guzzlers' should pay their true costs all around.

If we all HAVE to have trucks to move produce, we should all pay the price, but why should a non-car owner pay for a 'Chelsea Tractor' status symbol breathing the fresh air and consuming the world?
What do I drive? Not a 'Smart' for sure, Mercedes don't make them cheap enough. I drive a 2 seater, at an economic speed, get 55mpg, from an old re-cycled diesel van.

We just don't complain enough.
Going back to my youth, I never believed Roy Rogers actually killed rustlers, or that red Indians actually scalped the cavalry, being in 'black & white' it was never that graphic enough for me to wince at the potential bloodbath and fortuantely I did see it as fantasy. The fact is however, those 45cal. handguns don't just put a tiny hole in an arm in delayed action – the lead bullet removes the whole arm before the blink of the eye and the recoil of the gun, the real injuries would be appalling to the onlooker.
The number of violent movies and TV series has anaesthetised all onlookers and especially the people who mimic and wallow in the depicted gang culture. 'Miami Vice' is fiction guys!!! It doesn't happen on the streets of Miami as frequently as the programme shows and 'cool' heroes wearing white flannel baggies don't fire big silver automatics whilst rolling over hoods of cars – it's pretend you idiots!!!! I know I have lived there.
Don't get me going about 'The Americans'!!!! with their twisted morality [TV can show gross death but not the naked bum???] The obscene US Multi-Billionaires flaunt their wealth whilst the poor live with envy and resentment. How much intelligence does a $10,000,000 p.a footballer need to kick a bag of air into a net yet can't assemble enough words to be understood??
We don't complain enough because we think we are one in a few million who just can't be heard. The little old lady isn't going to get up and protest and the shocked housewife isn't going to be allowed to express her dismay and be taken seriously – it's just not British. This is why crime gains momentum, everyday thieves are part of the scenery and the stuff on the TV and in the news makes it so.
We don't complain when computer games allow children to atomise a policeman, blast a soldier or squash a granny under a TWOK car. This regularizing of death, mutilation and disfigurement of another human being cannot be reversed, the shock value of death is diluted with each vision.
We don't complain when TV depicts a death as entertainment.
[Jekyl. Last episode, commanding officer breaks squady's neck in a demonstration, the death is dismissed] OK the series is fiction and we can obviously see the difference between a 'monster' killing a human - but the cold blood killing of a comrade in arms should not be simply dismissed.

'Chip and Pin' - it in a villains head

I've discovered something brilliant and I've had an idea which I think will work - RFID chips, the size a two grains of rice (endon) which can identify FOREVER a convicted criminal, it can produce a unique number 2 to the power of 32 (research shows) more than people on the planet.

My idea is for ALL convicted criminals to have a chip placed right inside the brain where it cannot be removed - ever!! (by anyone without brain damage) - it stays there forever.

What??? BIG BROTHER!! I hear you say!!! No! it would be a deterant and a remedy to trace missing bail-jumpers, escapees, pervies, rapists, druggies, it would prevent criminals or weirdo's from leaving or entering the country as tourists and then disappearing into the ether.

The chips transmit local signals whenever they get near a tracker station.
Stations could be in supermarket entrances, the DSS, shops, malls, airports - just about anywhere and everywhere 'Joe Public' walks around and through.
Only convicted criminals need worry about brain implant (Don't do any crime then - tosser!!!)
They would only track a chip required to be noticed.
Once the criminal was 'released' ANY detection would be dismissed, but if they started again the trackers would alert the police of where and when they passed by.

Classic Example ; Where an idiot designs a website with address data requirements clearly biased solely to the US by insisting that in the “State” field - only American states are offered with no exception despite following fields offering “Country”.

Do the crime - Pay the fine and the full costs

I'm sick and tired of seeing TV programmes that show drunks, thieves, Car Crime and vandals etc; caught clearly on camera (from helicopters and the like) only to be sent to court - after hours of paperwork (or not even turn up!!) and then fined just a few pounds. We are paying for all this police time and money expended and it should be paid for buy the person(s) who are committing the crimes and causing the cost.

I'm not particularly happy but still willing to pay for the general police-keeping activities, the prevention and deterance of crime and the attendance etc. to crime scenes, but I am not happy to pay for a policemen on double time working at 4am in the morning supervising drunks and them having to put up with abuse and fighting. If the pubs want to sell drinks way out of sociable hours, they are the ones making the profit from such drinking - they should pay a proportion to police the locality. If a football ground makes the huge profit, they should be the ones paying for the NECESSARY or sub sequential policing.
You only have to view the popular(sic) programmes like 'Street Crime', 'Police Chases', 'Tonight' etc; to hear the pathetic justice handed out by out-of-touch Magistrates and Courts. How many times have you heard "the youths were found guilty of 'taking a vehicle without consent' and were fined £50"? or read "the lady was found guilty of identity theft which would have resulted in the loss of a £500,000 house and was given 100 hours community service"?
What kind of a slap in the face is that 'result' to the officers, the various departments involved and the police chasing up and investigating the crime and then having to spend longer filling in forms!!!

THIS IS MY STARTING SUGGESTION.......
I would like to discover (from the police authority) the AVERAGE cost of one PC/WPC on the beat. I would like to learn the TRUE cost of a vehicle - be it a helicopter, pursuit car or van, the cost of station time and all the costs subsequential. This should be the basis of costs and fines metered out by both the police and the courts.

Say for example, a PC costs £50/hour [a plumber can cost that!!!] and a van .75p/mile. Relating that to common street disturbances. If one man goes out and gets drunk, then causes the need for police attendance of two officers, a van having to be brought in with two more officers and the whole job took 2 hours, that would amount to about £450 - give the drunk the FULL cost involved!!!!!! plus a fine!! The drunks night out would be expensive. If he/she couldn't/wouldn't pay, leave the bill on his/her life file until paid.

If two or more men go out intent on crime and it takes 5 policemen, two cars a helicopter and the like - that may involve in total £15,000 - give the villains the whole costs involved plus a fine and sequestrate their assets.

Everyone should know the law and actions that are illegal, there are laws and regulations for a reason!!. Hardly anyone in the whole world is 100% honest - it is down to degrees of dishonesty and who is going to get caught. If the detection costs were being paid for by the 'result', more resources could be employed to discourage further crimes.

You know it is illegal to talk on your cell 'phone whilst driving, but you still take the chance of being spotted . If a police car with two officers gives chase and you fail to stop when challenged, expect to pay about £350 for police time plus the surrender of the 'phone and a fine.

If you speed in a car, you know it is illegal. If you are caught by a GATSO and no police time is wasted - expect to pay a nominal fine, if however you are chased by two policemen in a car AND YOU DO NOT STOP WHEN WARNED OR REQUIRED - expect to pay the full costs of their time and vehicle.

If you knowingly go out to steal, shoplift, handbag snatch, commit credit card fraud - expect to pay the costs to get you caught - for even if you ran away, you will probably be on CCTV and you probably will get caught for NOW there is an incentive to catch you!!!.

If you commit serious robbery, go equiped with guns and put up a chase when challenged, fire out of the window at the persuers - then don't expect mercy if you are seriously injured when the car is side-swiped and crashed, or when caught and the crime is proved - your house and all their belongings are seized and you are given a bill for the full costs involved - the court time alone could run into THOUSANDS and YOU should be paying the bill. That is fair - why should the tax payer pay for your holiday in jail for 18 months?

If you go out to break the democratic laws of the land - expect to pay the FULL costs - or just don't do things which are illegal.

WHAT?? YOU DISAGREE!!!! - THEN DON'T GET DRUNK & DISORDERLY, DON'T GIVE THE POLICE A REASON TO ARREST YOU, DON'T ROB, ETC.....unless you are prepared to pay the costs.
